    Syrian athlete Majd al-Din Ghazal wins bronze at Czech Ostrava meet

    The Syrian athlete Majd al-Din Ghazal won the bronze medal as he placed third in the high jump competition at the Czech Ostrava Athletics Forum as part of the World Challenge Championship series. This forum assigns players classification points based on their jumps. Ghazal’s jump of 2.24 meters qualified him for the World Championship.

    Syrian athlete Majd al-Din Ghazal wins bronze at Czech Ostrava meetGhazal has won several medals at international championships including a gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championship in Doha in which he finished first in the world rankings, a silver medal at the Rome Forum, a gold medal at the Challenge League championship in Bratislava, a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona in Spain, and a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Indonesia.
